Tottenham: Thomas Frank coy on Heung-min Son future as Cristian Romero ‘looks forward to new season’

Thomas Frank did not rule out a summer departure for Heung-min Son. But insisted he was “not worried” about the Tottenham forward’s future.
Son has been at the club for a decade and became the first Spurs captain to lift a European trophy for 41 years after victory in the Europa League final in Bilbao at the end of last season.
However, there have been suggestions that Son could be open to going out on a high, with MLS side LAFC among the clubs linked with a move for the 33-year-old.
A transfer before Spurs’ pre-season tour to South Korea appears incredibly unlikely, though there is the possibility of Son finding himself in a similar scenario to Harry Kane two summers ago.
“Yeah, first and foremost, here’s here now,” Frank said of Son.
“I’m not worried too much about it. Let’s take that five or six weeks down the line. That will probably be a question I get the next following weeks, so I’ll practice my answers. Right now, he’s here.”
Frank said Son had “setting the standards” in pre-season training. He will captain Spurs for 45 minutes against Reading on Saturday, with Cristian Romero leading the side for the other half.
However, Son has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Spurs and is believed to have interest from a number of clubs in Saudi Arabia and the United States.
Responding to the suggestion that Son เล่นเกมคาสิโน UFABET ทันสมัย ฝากถอนง่าย has earne the right to leave Spurs this summer. If he decides he wants a fresh challenge. Frank said: “It’s always tricky, situations like that if that happens.
